Anyone going to #Parksville🌲 in the near future? If so, here is our recommendation on one of the best restaurants in the area. It’s @CuckooItalian 🍝🍕. We went last summer and enjoyed an #alfresco lunch on their lovely patio! It was a great way to relax and unwind after walking through the fun and eclectic Coombs Market (@goatsontheroof). Our waiter did an amazing job even thought it was super busy! Great service always makes a big difference on your dining experience. One thing to be weary of…restaurants usually close BEFORE their stated time… so call in advance or get your reservations early 😅

Homemade pasta with fresh clams, mussels, shrimp,prawns, and scallops tossed with garlic, extra virgin olive oil, and fresh tomatos

Hand stretched thin crust pizza with pepperoni, hot italian sausage, spicy salami, hot capicollo, chili garlic sauce and mozarella cheese. On a recommendation from our waiter we held the spicy salami and it was a perfect pizza! For all those wondering, it was not too spicy.

We had leftovers from this meal even without their delicious bread, but it is always nice when a restaurant gives you a little something extra.
